Wow....next to no coverage or reenactments involving Prussians or anyone not French, English or Dutch-Belgian (are they even going to be there)....I thought of coming a couple years ago, I can't now for many reasons, but glad to take a pass.....

That's weird that the Prussians are not even talked about because without them Napoleon would have won that battle...

I do intend to purchase a uniform and join the flanquer company of the Dutch Bataljon Infanterie van Linie nr. 2, which will take part in the reenactment. Hopefully time permits to do so. At least my old army training will come in handy. Failing that, my wargames club in Amsterdam is working on 6mm armies and I will paint some of the Prussians. We will use it for a demo battle near the Waterlooplein in Amsterdam.

Nice to have another Dutch member with us! Just as an FYI a new Anglo-Allied Army website will be coming soon, so there will be a ton of Dutch, Belgian & Nassau units to pick from for your Club unit. Of course your current unit will be present too.

Most if not all of the members have just outgrown their Games Workshop addiction and haven't matured enough to appreciate the finer games in life :frenchwink1:

Perhaps I will go. I have been to Waterloo a couple of times and its always nice to see the real battlefield. I don't know if more members from the Netherlands

Myself and a good friend have our flts booked and will be there! We are flying into Paris then driving up after the Normandy commemorations.

I know of two other war game friends here in Nz who will also be there and now my cousin and her husband plan on being there as well! We might make a small kiwi contingent, Young Guard....on the French side of course! :frenchsalute:

We will do both Ligny and Quatra Bra on the way and be there on Wed the 18th, a few days before the Sunday re-enactment.

I am not allowed to take part ........as I would lead L'Guard and they would not Recule!!! :frenchvive1:
