There was a merry dance;

Wild and weird and whirling waltzes skipped

Ye through, ye knaves of France!

For there struck the great bass-viol

An old German man famed,

Marshal Forward, Prince of Wallstadt,

Gebhardt Lebrecht von Blücher named.

Up! The Blücher hath the ball-room

Lighted with the cannon’s glare!

Spread yourselves, ye gay, green carpets,

That the dancing moistens there!

And his fiddle-bow at first he waved

With Goldberg and with Jauer;

Whew! He’s drawn it now full length,

His play a stormy northern shower!

Ha! The dance went briskly onward,

Tingling madness seized them all;

As when howling, mighty tempests

On the arms of windmills fall.

But the old man wants it cheery,

Wants a pleasant dancing chime;

And with gun-stocks clearly, loudly,

Beats the old Teutonic time.

Say, who, standing by the old man,

Strikes so hard the kettle-drum,

And, with crushing strength of arm,

Down lets the thundering hammer come?

Gneisenau, the gallant champion:

Alemannia’s envious foes

Smites the mighty pair, her living double-eagle,

Shivering blows.

Why are the trumpets blowing? Ye hussars, away!

‘T is the Field-Marshal rideth, with flying fray;

He rideth so joyous his mettlesome steed,

He swingeth so keenly his bright-flashing blade!

With besom of iron he swept clean the hall!

At Wartburg, on the Elbe, how before him all yielded!

Nor fortress nor castle the Frenchmen shielded;

I am offering myself as an experience Commander with 12 Major victories to lead a wovlern div of three Prussian officers in a mpt. If you are not willing to take commands and be victories please continue with your own games but I will only give attack or defend orders in a Wovlen MPT! I will command a small Kav Reverse to use as I see fix. "Show no pity"

I course also agree, in MPs someone must command and in my all early ntw3 & HW games highest rank commanded the battles (or delegate it if he wants to) In fact most gaming clans work this way as they play MP mostly. I can confirm to take commands but cant being victorious as never played MP yet. Herr Major General I will do that normally a FM would command MP team but since we have but one and he has not step to the plate for the Glory of the Motherland this French /Haitian émigré will stand for both the Glory and honor of the Prussian Empire. All we need is two more commit General officers or rank officers to join. I see the shame of 06 is still in the heart of the Officer Korps. The uniform of this Korps will be Black only so if you join change to Black.

I don't do MP's sadly.... If you guys can find two more Prussians willing to follow this method, than great! Go for it. If not, maybe a normal MP game will do....

Gentlemen hope you forgive my ignorance on this issue but i am confused: -MPs are pbem only right conversely tcp/ip with Histwar ? -2 more Prussians follow the method ? so MPs are 2v2 only or can be 3v3 as well ? You mean 1 on each team commanding only i guess so can be 3v3 ? -Normal MPs are 2v2 where people play without a commander ? SLudwig wrote: I don't do MP's sadly.... The last time I played was 3v2 Three Prussians vs 2 French I Prussian Commander who took over if a player was out or on vacation in my case I was in the cancer ward. We lost but only minor when I returned
