Gentleman of the Coalition,
a thread has been started in the Coalition Arms asking for advice on this campaign. I have not played it in years and am wary that anything I say will be the exact opposite of what should be done. Please come and add your opinions..

The Prussians could run away to avoid losses.

Jim,
Prussian corps are not universal than the French. Prussians have the vanguard, rearguard, the infantry here and cavalry there. Don't act alone in isolation. Your goal is to unite the army. Remember about the rivers and bridges which are a friend and foe at the same time.

Thanks Cezary. If you are playing as the Prussians, where would you choose to stand and fight?

I posted this here because a lot of Coalition players will look at this forum but only a few frequent the Coalition Arms., so this is one way of letting them know about the discussion.

Jim, I played once as Prussian in campaign mode. I don't remember, which variant I choosed. Now I don't have this game. All the Prussian units I moved to the one side of the main river (right side) and waited in battle stations for upcoming the French armies. Of course, some Prussian detachments are slowly delay the French move and die in battles (on both sides of river). Frenchman marched into few directions (on both sides of river). The large forests, forested hills, winding pikes, roads between them, helped me. Who won? Nobody. We stopped the game. Probably the Frenchies. :frenchroll:
