And not wishing to make excuses but I have some 10 games going on, including an utter humiliation at the hands of Jim Hall at the Blitz tournament. |

Nonsense, my dear Frenchmen, and those of similar ilk and manner. First, we see the challenge. Then we must consider family responsibilities such as making sure the indentured servants can carry the load in our absence, mistresses are sufficiently cared for so as not to stray into the neighboring manor house, and the silverware is properly hidden from the local tax man and pastor. Marching off to war is not something we take lightly. Once all these responsibilities are cared for, we can sharpen our sabers, new shoes for the horses, and the earlier musket ball holes in the uniforms mended. We take this 20 year war seriously! As you soldiers of the Snail King say, En Garde! |

I saw that Marco, and nearly did reply to it, but real life has come to the point where I have to basically get out of the PBEM business. Someone really should take on Marco, as he is a long time vet of the HPS/JTS games- I think he handed me my rear end in a couple of short scenarios in Renaissance some years ago (I think also in a Civil War title, maybe two as well).
