In my recent post Recent Russian Victories, two words "earned" and "Congratulating" have been altered to take the reader to advertising websites. This was done without my permission and suggests that the Rhine Tavern has been hacked.

I urge members to report any such incidents to the NWC Administrators.

I don't see it, so I think your computer has a bit of malware on it.

I can't see it either. It may well be a virus on Bill's pc browser.

Do not click on any forum board links until further notice. is the best advice at present.

Nope Genghis. It is actually your computer that is hacked. This is a common malware hack. You will see it on other sites too.

It might be as simple as an extension or plugin added to your browser or it might be something more malicious than that.

It is not the forum though.

This is a good free tool that will usually clean that stuff up.

Also, like I said, check your browser extensions and plugins. That is the most common place you find this stuff.

In a Windows machine, you can also go to the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. Sometimes you will find the culprit there and be able to remove it.

Probably... otherwise we would all see it.
