My game with Marechal Paco Palomo has come to an abrupt end ...

You are all probably thinking that his horse thundered over my men and that the Austrians are in full retreat back into Alessandria but actually my brave Austrians prevailed and by turn 24 Paco had had enough.

Thanks Paco, for the match! I cannot honestly ever remember beating you before in a game thus making this one memorable for me and also that I was able to help our glorious Allied cause in the tournament.

Wishing the rest of the Allied commanders a great victory as well! Go get em, guys! :frenchsalute: :thumbsup:

Well done Bill and commiserations for Andy.

My game is at a stand still as desktop is in for repair. Anyway Andy I finished off the El bomb. yesterday and collected a case of Aussie reds from Bridgemere Garden Centre today. It absolutely p****d down but, as the cupboard was bare...

Somewhat the worse for wear, a bedraggled marshal stumbles to a table. "Garçon, a double cognac, s'il vous plaît! Sacre bleu!, I've been hoisted by my own petards."

Seriously, Bill waged a masterful battle. While luring me into a premature counter-attack by exposing several batteries with little in support, his main attack splintered my left South of Marengo. :frenchsad: Congratulations!
