The Allied Coalition tried a sweep around the flank but the French drive up the middle killed their plans! Hi folks, I am following my favorite football team, the KC Chiefs, and thought how much the Battle of Austerlitz was like a football game. 1st possession of the game - Allies try a sweep around the flank .... minor gain. 1st possession for French - Napoleon plows through the middle for major gain! Game over! Well there was more to it than that but just a plug to say a late but happy Austerlitz Day! Grand victory for the battlefield master! |
