I just took a look at Scourge of War: Waterloo. Who in the club owns this game and what are your thoughts on the game? http://www.slitherine.com/store/product.asp?gid=703 I am wondering how cavalry charges are handled, do infantry units form square as the cavalry announces a charge, do crews flee for cover and then return to their guns? I like the idea of a middle manager concept. Means that you get orders from HQ and then try and carry them out. I would like to hear input on that too. How does the multiplayer work? Is it "We Plot-We Go" or "Simultaneous Live Play" or "I Go-U Go" format? The price is too much for me now. I would wait until it goes on sale before I even considered buying it. |

https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steam/a ... 1491485758 "This now brings us to the fourth generation game, Scourge of War: Waterloo .The legendary Scourge of War AI has been rebuilt to fight a proper Napoleonic War era battle." I am highly doubtful. This is Activision's Shogun: Totalwar abandonware remodelled afterall. Looks like only pausable realtime. There are command control delays which are cool. TCP/IP and LAN multiplayer only. Infantry will auto-square but, artillerists will not leave their guns apparently. |
