Post subject:  Download JTS games
I noticed that the JTS game (the Peninsular game at any rate) seems to be available as a download only.

I might be old fashioned (I like the shiny disc CD/DVD :scottishduh: ) .. but if I can get over this new fangery, how does a download work? I presume the file just sits on my computer and I install it from there... and that I can make a copy of it on a DVD etc. myself?

I'm worried in case I change my PC (or more likely it packs up) and then the download/install file is lost.

Correct, JTS are download only.
You simply buy it and after payment will be provided with a serial & a download link. Just download the installation file & install(preferably not in the standard folder).
Afterwards it's up to you what you do with the installation file, I personally also back them up to disc in case I need it again what can very well happen.

A backup DVD is a good idea. Also note that you can download the file as often as needed. The purchase includes the download link which never expires like some companies does with their products.
