The Seven Years War was a nice addition to European 18th century warfare. But two notable struggles seem to be forgotten. The War of Spanish Succession, 1701-1718 and the War of Austrian Succession, 1740-1748 were fought by numerous armies over most of Europe.
I recently had a chance to visit my sister in law in Belgium. From her backyard stretched a good part the fields over which the Battle of Fontenoy 1745 was fought. They are still finding relics from the 10,000 dead French and British combatants.
Now I may be wrong and the designers of WDS are currently working on the 2 titles.
One can only hope!
