| Post subject: | Seeking Detailed Battle of Ligny Map |
If any of you could post a link here or an image of a detailed Battle of Ligny map I would appreciate it. I am looking for one that shows exact regiment and battalion setups for both sides. For the Prussians: if it has the Jager company locations that would be ideal. I am using the "Treffen" setup so the scenario from Campaign Waterloo will not do. Just a brigade name is not enough. I want as detailed a deployment as possible. I will be looking to see if Dr. Stephen Summerfield can help. I seem to remember that one of his three books on the Prussian army of the 1813-15 era had a good map of the battlefield deployment. Thanks in advance! |

I probably will compile my own "map" based on what I am finding in Peter Hof.'s book on the battle. He actually breaks down how many companies were in such and such a place. Lists the Jager companies. Seems detailed enough to suit my purposes. I still would benefit from a map but just not required at this point. |
