Hi,brothers!I am a player come from China.Although I joined the club one year ago, I have only recently started training. That's why I need to introduce myself,or rather introduce the situation of WDS Napoleon games in China. About me,you can call me Tim.I am the translator of the user manual for the Chinese version of the WDS Napoleon game, and have played a lots of pbem games, such as Leipzig 091,Battle of Friedland and Jena Campaign.Compared to fighting against computers, I mainly play big scenario in PBEM mode with other palyers. Many people in China have purchased WDS Napoleon games,so actually,I'm a leader of the WDS Napoleon game pbem group in China--just build but not interfere. We share pbem files through instant messaging software QQ,and we have 67 mumbers.Although there are fewer than ten active players,we still had a great time playing. So,I think when everyone is less busy, maybe we can start some friendly group warfare. We can share our experiences with PBEM or simply enjoy the game. The specific time is not yet certain, it's just a proposal. ![]() ![]() |

Its great to have you with us in the club and I hope you can convince some of your friends in China to join us. Its exciting to know that the game manual has been translated into Chinese. What army are you in the NWC? French or Allied army? Make sure to post your full name and rank as well as your unit, army OB organization in your forum user profile signature. To do that do the following: 1. At the top right click on User Control Panel 2. Click on Profile 3. Click on Edit Signature 4. Enter in your rank, full name on the first line and your unit name, brigade, division (if applicable), corps and army Click on Preview to see how it will look to everyone on the forum and then click on Save when satisfied that its correct. |

Tim, it is great to know that WDS games are flourishing across the globe. I would be happy to take up the challenge of a game, it would be good to get to learn more about where you are from, as well as testing our skills on the Field of Glory! |

Certainly happy to have you with us Tim! Glad to hear of the work you've done for the wargaming hobby in China! I'm sure at some point we can arrange for some games between the two groups. ![]() |

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the NWC Fan Dui (Tim), particularly as you have opted not to join the dark side. You are now the fifth player from China, that I have had the pleasure to communicate with. Thank you for making the leap to the NWC. It is wonderful to learn of the interest in the WDS Napoleonic Campaign Series in China too, and indeed of your part in promoting it. I hope that you enjoy your time amongst us. I wish you good fortune on the field of battle.- |
