Imperial Russian Army Appointment to the 5th (Guards) Infantry Corps


By appointment from His Imperial Majesty Alexander I, Emperor of Russia, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Finland, General-Feldmarshal Prince Mikhail Kutuzov and the Imperial Russian Army & 2nd Western Army Chief of Staff (CoS) Mayor Josh Jansen. For significant victories on the field of battle, leading the armies of Imperial Russia against La Grande Armée, the below officer:


General-Leytenant Alexey Tartyshev
Kiev Grenadier Regiment
1st Brigade
2nd Grenadier Division
8th Infantry Corps

is hereby given honorary command, as Honorary Regimental Colonel-in-Chief, of the following in the 5th (Guards) Infantry Corps of the Imperial Russian Army:

Leib-Guard Preobrazhensky Regiment
1st Brigade
Guard Infantry Division

Appointment is offered when an officer has at least 25VPs and a long & active service record!

My heartfelt congratulations to you sir. From my experience of our partnership during an Eckmuhl Multi-Player game and several of your posts on this Forum, this award is indeed well merited.
