Greetings members of the Napoleonic Wargame Club. I thank you for this community that you have built up and the work you have put into this to make it enjoyable. I hope to contribute in my own way with honor. A short bio: I am old. I have played the John Tiller/WDS American Civil War titles, (and am a member of the ACWGC), so I have familiarity . . . . . . but, I do know there are significant differences between that era and this one. So before you begin to "lick your chops" on dreaming of launching devastating calvary charges, please note that I plan to make full use of the materials this club has made available so that I will be able to acquit myself with honor on the field of battle. For I too hope that one day our Emperor will be able to say to me: "Soldat, je suis content de vous." Until then, it is study. I wish all good gaming and a Happy Holiday season. |
