​A hearty Willkommen to the Imperial Service. Commanding the Warasdiner Sankt-Georger Grenzer is a task for a man of spirit. The Grenzers are the eyes and ears of the army, famous for their Treffsicherheit (marksmanship) and their ability to fight where regular lines crumble.

Welcome to the NWC Fähnrich Daszewski.

It would seem that there is a "run" of Austrian recruits. For the life of me, I cannot understand the attraction, especially when you have La Grande Armée as an option.

I hope you enjoy your time with the sausage eaters and I wish you a modicum of success on the field of honour.

Hochwohlgeborene Herren, Excellenzen und wackere Officiere des Reiches!

Es gereicht mir zur höchsten soldatischen Ehre, bei diesem glorreichen Feldzuge zu dienen, um jener moralischen Fäulnis, welche sich die sogenannte „Französische Revolution“ zu schimpfen wagt, mit blankem Stahl Einhalt zu gebieten. Wir alle wissen recht wohl, daß jenes liederliche Treiben weitaus treffender als ein gallischer Hurenhaus-Krawall zu titulieren wäre!

Verzeihen die Herren mir meine ungeschliffene Zunge; vermuthlich verfalle ich im Felde bereits dem rauen Lager-Ton meiner slavonischen Grenzer. Auf meinem heimatlichen Gute zu Orońsko hätten wir derlei pöbelhafte Redensarten freilich sogleich in die Schranken gewiesen. Doch die martialische Passion, unser Reich zu vertheidigen, peitscht mir das Blut!

Welch hirnverbrannte Phantasterey ist dies, da der gemeine Bauernstand sich anmaßt, Kronen zu tragen und über den Adel zu richten? Lasset uns in strammer Formation gen Welschland marschieren und diesen höllengezeugten korsischen Dämon samt seinen anis-käuenden Spießgesellen im Kartätschenhagel zerschmettern!

Ich danke für diese unermessliche Ehre dieses Kommandos.


Esteemed gentlemen and officers of the Empire, it is an honour to serve this great endeavour to stop the morale decay that is the so-named ¨"French revolution." We all know it should be more aptly named the French brothel-brawl. Pardon my manners my lords, I am already falling under the influence of my Slavonians perhaps, in my home estate of Orońsko we might outcast such uncouth speech. Yet the passion to defend the Empire stirs me! What ideas are these that ordinary peasants think themselves kings? Let us march to Italia and suppress this spawned Corsican demon and his anis-chewing chronies! Thank you for this great honour, for the true Emperor and for Austria!
