Post subject:  Column attack benefits
Apparantly in the BG series, French and Prussians received a bonus when in column for purposes of melee. Is this true also in the HPS series? I don't see any documentation of the feature in the manual.

Yes, any infantry attacking in column gets an attack bonus. I don't recall the exact number (I think it's that they get credit for +20% strength but I'm not positive.)

Be sure you have "on screen results" turned off, and look at the details of a melee and you'll see it. (Know how many troops are attacking before hand, and watch how many it's giving you credit for)
