I met General Barrett over this past weekend... He came up from his home to Ottawa to visit the new War Museum in Ottawa... It is nice to finally meet someone face to face from the club... Marechal John Corbin Chief of Staff La Grande Armee |

Cool. I have had the honor of meeting many of my fellow club members, primarily from the ACWGC though. Have done some good battlefield tours with them as well! Gen. Hamilton, Baron d'Barbancon 21st Division VII Corps, ADR Saxon Leib-Garde, de la Jeune Garde, Garde Impériale

Always fun to meet folks in our clubs. Here is my list of folks I have met face to face: Kevin Mainwearing - he came to LA in his semi before he hung up the cross country driving. We had a nice meet in a restaraunt. Mike Gjerde - his mom lives not far from where I used to live. We had a lunch together - he lives in N. Cal and came down for his mom's birthday. Thomas Callmeyer - a fellow Boise resident. We had a nice meeting at his house. Rod Murchison - lives north of me. Had a nice sandwich (he paid!) with him at a local eating place. Mike Cox - met him and his family at his house in California. Jeff Connor - ditto as per Mike Cox. Great cook! Art Ozols - met him in Arizona at his house. He moved to Philly area and is now back in AZ again. Probably will try and see him in the winter when I tour the Southwest. No, Not seen anyone yet,Unless any one coming to the North of Ireland this year, Was going to Waterloo this year but that has been stopped,If i can get things together i would try to get to Austerlitz.
