Post subject:  Waterloo questions
Only just got the Waterloo Campaign and a few questions to those already familiar with the game:

1. I've just noticed, the "display visible hexes" and "command range" functions don't work in the 3d out-view mode.

Any idea?

2. Is it possible to play without trouble with the Waterloo mod from http://www.befreiungskrieg.de/Downloadc ... terloo.htm.
What would happen if the one player plays the original game and the other with the mod? As far as it looks, the mod mainly focuses on amending the graphics, although there's a new pdt file as well.

I noticed the same trouble too Tomasz.

As for the MODS I assume it depends on how the patches will work here as opposed to how they work with the MOD.

One only needs to tweak some of the graphic files to have the same effect.....

I play in 3d out veiw mode and just go over to 2d for the Vis Hex for now.,Rich is working on a Patch,and all should work after.

Yes, the visible hex problem will be resolved in the first patch.

It's a problem with the 3D ground file, so if the mod has it's own 3D file then that's why it works.

We were using the older ground during testing, almost until the end, then we dropped the new ones in...hence we missed it.

Best laid plans...

Hmmm...making a quick ground fix was not as easy as I thought....so some backup will be needed...

But I wonder since it works in that MOD if it will work in NIA Waterloo??

I'll have to tinker with it.
