Hear, hear to all the brave men!! Those of the French and British Guard, the KGL, Dutch-Belgians, and Hannoverians. To those of Ponsby's Brigade, and of Scottish Moors, and Irish Lands. To those French Regulars so trained and well formed, to the English Proper Units. Cavalry run amok and the charges so great...but last but not least to the Prussian Glory in the late....[:D][:D]

A toast too for the brave British & French troops who fought alongside each other 150 years ago attempting to assault the Malakov and Redan redoubts on 18th June 1855.

May the Anglo-French alliance of the Crimean War - and subsequent conflicts - be remembered as long as the last battle between the two nations.
