Is there available a decent (read that simple to use) Map editor that can be used to create new battlefields for DYO scenarios, to be used with the BG-NIR/PTW/Waterloo engines? I have learned how to edit the OOB, PDT, and assorted .bmp files, but have no clue about editing the map itself, and the assorted support files (LOS, etc). Willie It is anything but simple I am afraid. Small maps are not too bad but big ones can be a real labour - ask Bill Peters and whoever did the HPS Waterloo map. To generate them for the Battleground games all the information you need is here. http://nhwc.20m.com/maps/mapmaking/cartography.htm Then set aside 2 or 3 months and you're off!
