On the subject of new games. Does anyone play the Shrapnel Horse & Musket or Dragoon games? I played them quite some time ago and enjoyed them. At that time I don't believe they had PBEM option. Anyway they do have PBEM capbility now. The time period is pre-Napoleonic, primarily Frederick the Great era. There are also expansion packs with American Revolution battles and other European battles of the period. The newest game in the series is Prussia's Glory: Here are some links: http://www.shrapnelgames.com/boku/hnm/1.htm http://www.gamersfront.com/cgi-bin/stor ... egory=2000 http://www.wargamer.com/news/news.asp?nid=2735# BG Ed Blackburn Commanding 6th Div, II Corps, AAA 3rd Bn / 1st Regiment of Foot Guards |

I played Horse and Musket and also Dragoon's scenarios on this engine. Cool game, it properly reflects slow and measured tactics of the Guerre en dentelle. Though it has primitive graphics but I fixed this problem thanks to addons developed by fans. This game made me improve my knowlege about Seven years war. I'd like to play Horse and Musket 2, but it's not avialable in Russia still. Shrapnelgames issued two more very attractive Napoleonic real-time wargames - Watterloo and Austerlitz. Rittmeister V.
