Yes we need Cidre to make Calva... For those who wonder what it is, it is an apple brandy made from Cidre (cider[:D]) and it is very strong because they distile it twice: 70° for the good ones. <i>Pere Magloire</i> for example is a famous brand.

Sort of reminds me how the 60s era folks who were anti-estatblishment now own big homes and ride Harleys!
