Yes sir, people do.

Imagine being able to finish a game in the same day that you start it.

Go at it with some sort of a time limit on the honor system with your opponent and you can log in quite a few number of turns. Make sure the auto save is selected should either player's internet connection is disconnected momentarily.

Heck, spread a longer game out over two days on a weekend while the wife is away or shopping. [;)] Or just save it at the end of a couple of hours only to return to it on another day.

<font color="orange"><b>It really is a GREAT way to play.</b></font id="orange">

Great fun this way. You don't have to wait for a couple of weeks to see if your grand plan is going to work or not.

I'm with Rick, really a great way to play.

I have asked about the before but never got much of a swell of "yea what he said" but what I would love to see is the ability to move between TCP/IP and PBEM with the same file some how.
