Ohhhhhh. I tried so hard to be Christmas Number 1. [V] Two players went AWOL on me and I hold them to blame. Thanks for a good job Yann. Generalissimo Opolchenie Korpus Russian Army |

One opponent has just resigned. Can we at least pretend I'm Number 1? Just 1 less defeat and I'd have made it. One small mistake Yann - Scott Ludwig has 2 places, his position at 79 can be deleted. Generalissimo Opolchenie Korpus Russian Army |

Mr Sharpie. That's a bit harsh on poor John. Well, ok, he is one of my oldest, most enthusiastic and cherished opponents. He did beat me once and I note that somebody had a sense of humour and gave him the title of Duke of Piave as a result. Just to rub my nose in it. These Frenchies get titles for every victory I think, so few are they[;)] For every victory I've had at least 2 defeats. Some just plain embarrassing. Just play a lot of people and sooner or later you will hit gold. Rank isn't everything, I've been thrashed by excellent lowly ranks so don't be put off by high rank or pick on newbies. Oh, and multiplayer - find team mates who are good and enthusiastic and don't mind doing all the work whilst you move 3 supply wagons around and get decent points for your efforts. Those that I owe most to are Messrs Corbin; Owczarski; Dawson; Dodson; Duggan and Barrett (in part). The list of those to be avoided from my experiences is too lengthy but would include the Halls; Messrs Fuller, Johnson, Walter and Peterson; anyone foreign sounding; anyone from Australia. Be magnanimous in victory. Offer another game. Blame everyone and anything in defeat. Resign with dignity. Don't offer another game. I hope that helps sir. It wasn't that long ago that I started my humble career as something unpronounceable. Generalissimo Opolchenie Korpus Russian Army |

We just need to get him to join the Allied side!!! [:D] Its that French army. Who can win with it? Note that the top Tops players are Allies.
