Officers of la Grande Armée,
After consultation with Generals Cox and Jensen, I am pleased to announce a tournament between the Armée du Nord and the Armée du Rhin. What is at stake is no less than bragging rights and the opportunity to claim the glory of being the premier fighting force in the the service of l'Empereur.
Using HPS Eckmuhl as the basis for the contest, each army will assign officers to take part in a series of blind scenarios designed to test not only your tactical skills in battle but also your success in achieving certain strategic objectives.
We will be using the options and house rules currently employed in the MOE tournament. The start date for the tournament's first round of battles will be the weekend of February 4.
I will be available in Pierre's tavern for any questions, further discussion and sign up lists (though I encourage each army to work diligently to muster as many officers as may be interested but may not frequent the taverns).
