Gentlemen of all armies !! May I please have your attention !! After seeing the error of his ways and leaving the allied rabble for the glorious French Army Monsieur le Maréchal Dierk Walter has distinguished himself both on and off the field. His dedication and devotion to the French army have inspired us all and has caught the eye of the Emperor himself !! Today we bestow up Monsieur le Maréchal Walter 2 of the greatest honours any French officer could hope to achieve. First, for having succeeded in battle against all of the armies of the allied rabble, the Emperor has conferred upon Monsieur le Maréchal Walter The Grand Triumph Cross. A richly deserved and hard won honour.
![]() Secondly, Monsieur le Marechal Walter has ascended to the ranks of The Old Guard and has accepted the command of Les Grenadiers a'Pied de la Vieille Garde Congratulations Dierk !!! Both honours are well earned. Monsieur le Marechal Baron John Corbin Duc de Paive Commanding the Division de Cavalerie de la Jeune Garde NWC President |

I am indeed honoured by being given command of the most senior infantry in the army, the original grognards, the Emperor's guard on Elba, the last square on the last battlefield of the Empire. What greater honour could a soldier aspire to? [:)] Thank you for your congratulations, friends. All beer and cognac on me today. [^]
D.S.
