Marechal Ney welcomed Field Marshal Wellington, escorted by a squadron of Chasseurs a Cheval of the Imperial Guard, to his command post overlooking the French advance on the cross roads of Quatra Bras. Definitely these events are worthy of some historical footnote [;)] |
