Post subject:  Question on skm strength stacking
Gents a question on the HPS game system -
Do skm coys stacked with more than 200 men to a hex still recieve skirmish modifiers when fired at by arty or small arms fire and/or when melee attacked[?]
O,r is there an upper limit to the numbers of skirmishers in a hex before they loose that skirmish modifier and become a regular or dense target[?]

"„h When the target unit is a Skirmisher unit and the total stacking in the hex does not exceed 1/8 maximum stacking, then the fire value is 25% of normal."

So yes, there is a max, but you need to check the pdt for the max stacking value.
