Today was said to be a great day for Ol' Boney!! He bested the Glorious Prussian Armee. But little did he know, he underestimated the militiamen and line regiments he so promptly dismissed. Infused by anger, rage and seeking revenge with Jena and Auerstadt on the minds and the taste of blood on their lips, the Prussian Armee made a move that unknown to Nappy, would seal his fate!!
With Our Beloved and Great Marschall Vorwärts, Generalfeldmarschall Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, Fürst von Wahlstatt missing, feared dead, the Armee under Gneisenau, made what maybe the deciding choice.
Instead of retreating to Namur, he moved closer to Wellington, living up to the "Promise Not Forgotten" and reformed the Armee.
The Great GFM Blücher, saved only by his devoted Aide-de-Camp Count Nostitz, arrived later.
The Only Man Never Afraid of Ol' Boney, mounted his horse, and with the Ages at his grasp, let out the Cry of the German Warrior, Vorwärts, Meine Kinder, Vorwärts!! With all indemnity, set out with the Glorious Legions of the Prussian Armee, to set in motion the Final Chapter, and fulfill the "Promise Not Forgotten!"
Two days later the Legions of Glory would smash into the flank and the rear of the French at La Belle Alliance (Waterloo), and be the deciding factor in the battle and the Napoleonic Wars!!
Today we honor our Great men, whom lost, but in actuality, won the Strategic Victory!! We Honor the Bravery of Marschall Vorwärts and his undying quest to rid Napoleon. Time and Time again his Tenacity and Courage would be the source of Allied Determination!!
