Another quiet night in The Rhine Tavern..

Several newly graduated officers are at a table swapping stories with an officer of the Old Guard.

Barrett is sitting with Eason at a table by the fire. They are well into their cups but manage to stay sitting up.

Suddenly the Door opens and in walks in Marechal Corbin. In his hand is another imperial scroll. The room goes silent.

The scroll is unrolled and in a loud voice Marechal Corbin announces:

"His Majesty has decreed that General de Division Yann Lamezec is proclaimed as your the new Leader of La Grande Armee. Please give him your full support while you are emptying his ample purse"

"Helga... Please break out the good brandy and food.. We are going to have a wild night tonight"
