Ok - I was joshing just a bit with the Dutch Major in another thread but I am really excited about the prospect of a HPS 1813 game where the French for the most part are out numbered and mainly are on the defense. Sure, at Bautzen they had the numbers and Dresden was purely a divide and conquer affair (but only after an initial day of defense) but if we had a 1813 game we could see La Francaise peacocks have to defend for the most part. Allied blitzing would be in season! And 1814 .... ahhhhh!!! Not only am I looking forward to making these agressive French players fight with a smaller, poor quality army but I am REALLY looking forward to having a 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 cavalry advantage in some of the 1813 battles! Well Bill, is this a hint? I am not starting any new games even though I have two slots open because you have been saying your new game is coming out soon. The suspense is a bummer. regards! Well I cant go into titles that's for sure. Just hoping that 1813 comes out in the next 2 years. I am tired of seeing these Froggies run us over. Well, you can always go play France '40... [:I] Anyway, I like being on the defensive. I'm a poor defender, but an abysmal attacker. FZM Freiherr Gary McClellan Generalissimus Imperial Austrian Army Portner Grenadier Battallion Allied Coalition C-in-C |

The French never defend. I will not here of it. The only report I want to hear is that we are advancing! You will grab them by the nose and kick them in the a@@! Oh wait, channeling a WWII general. Sorry, carry on![:D] General de Division Doug Fuller Duc de Montmorail et Comte de Hainaut 2e' Grenadiers a' Pied de la Vielle Garde I Corp Commander AdN ![]() |
