Messieurs Myself and two intrepid fellow officers, are looking for advice on a scenario, which would lend itself well to a MP game. We have Echmuhl, Wagram, and Napoleon's Russian Campaign from HPS. We're not necessarily looking for a campaign more a single scenario. Can anyone point us in the right direction. Something which is balanced, as we need to entice the enemy to battle and with sufficient troops to allow for three commands. Many thanks for you input. Général de Division Baron Greg Morgan, Comte de Gironde Commandant IIIème Corps Armée du Nord ![]() |

Can I suggest that you avoid playing one of the Aspern-Essling scenarios for now. The game will get an update soon and the bridge strength feature will mess up your game. I have fixed the scenarios (more bridge points for that ONE bridge from the Lobau Island) but if you start one up now and then update your game you wont be able to cross AND there were no pioneers in those scenarios (there will be in the update) so hold off on any bridge situations where the strengths are LOW and there are no pioneers. Working on it ... should be out no later than November or so. Greg, IMO, the most balanced scenarios in the whole series are "Hunting Davout" and the what-if or alternate "Hunting Davout" in Campaign Eckmuhl. There are more than enough troops for 3 players per side, multiple fronts and both the Allied and French players have to balance going on the offensive in one sector while defending in another. As between the two, the historical scenario is longer (56 turns) and the first 15 turns chiefly entail the arrival of reinforcements and maneuvering them into position. The alternate scenario is shorter (40+) and can lead to a major engagement within 5 turns. Regards, Paco Maréchal M. Paco is right on, we are playing a variant of Hunting Davout in the AdN inter-corps tournement and both sides have plenty of troops to go around as well as plenty of room to maneuvre. Regards.
