Guys, we think that this lastest set of updates is the best we have put out so far. Along with corrected scenarios and maps, John's updates to the game engines has produced a computer simulation that plays alot different from the past blitz days (there were times when I was "unintentially" saving my incoming Nap files to the Panzer Campaigns folder!). In short I for one am more encouraged than ever to want to take to the field against "The Full" Paco or a Jeff Bardon.

While we can still mass our forces and overrun a smaller force its not going to happen in 1 or 2 turns. As long as the defender will keep a local reserve to help out in case of a breakthrough (which units will be attacking disordered defenders) we should not be seeing repeats of the old days.

With the defender now having 2/3 movement for his disordered forces (increase over the days of 1/2)*, the attacking being worth 1/3 when disordered, and in the case of Jena, disorder recovery being more difficult, you are going to see an attacker slowed down and not able to just walk up and roll over a position.

For the next update I will work on the morale ratings of Eckmuhl and Wagram (and any mistakes I made in Jena that come out in your games) as well as the command and leadership ratings for both sides.

We hope you guys enjoy the series! Alot of time and effort is going into these changes and we appreciate the response we are getting from you.

* in the PDT file is a line near the bottom that can be adjusted so if you want to create one where disodered units can move faster then you can adjust this value if you like but remember to SAVE AS the file FIRST and then make any changes you want to the file for an ALTERNATE version of the scenario.

Should have no effect on on-going games. You just won't get to use all the optional rules until a new game is started.

If you have already grabbed the Wagram patch please do so again...2 OOB files were omitted accidentally, and have now been inserted.

I'm playing one of Borodino scenarios. The bridge over Kolocha near Borodino has 45 strength, after update it is impossible to pass through it.
So be careful with update if have bridges.

Humm...I changed all the scenarios for the patch, so new games will be fine, but I guess you are correct, the bridge rule will hamper current games for that scenario.
