How should i put mine infantry against guns? Should i put them in columm or line of have you another idea? I'm playing the allies. I think it was DÉrlon assault on the middle.

It is better to keep the first (and maybe second) line in line formation. In that case enemy guns wont have 50% fire power bonus against your infantry.
Secondly, your infantry will be able to fire back on approachinf French.
But dont forget to keep the line of skirmishes ahead of your line.

Remember though that if you put more than one line in the same hex that both of them will suffer losses.

Thus putting one line in a hex is better than two.
