Col. Wakeman. Paul, here is a url for creating a single disc. http://garyned.tripod.com/Disk_Copy.htm As for the drive problems, I'll have to leave it to someone more computer literate to assist you with those. Lieutenant John Sheffield 1st Btn/91 Regiment of Foot [Argyllshire Highlanders] 6th British Brigade/4th Infantry Division/ II CORPS / ANGLO-ALLIED ARMY. "Among these respectable warriors, the Scotch [Scots] deserve to be particularly commemorated; and this honourable mention, is due to their discipline, their mildness, their patience, their humanity, and their bravery without example." You can also rename your E drive to be F. But you first have to reassign a drive letter to the bad drive so that E is available. You go into the Control Panel. Open up Administrative Tools. Open up Computer Management. Pick Disk Management. Wait for it to refresh the list of drives. Find your CD rom drive that is giving you problems. Right click on it and pick Change Drive Letter and Paths. Click on Change. Pick a drive letter not in use. Click OK. Follow the directions (sometimes you have to reboot). Once the bad CD has been reassigned a new drive letter change the drive letter for the good drive to be the same as what the bad one was using. Reboot if neccessary. I have XP Pro so your path to get to Computer Management may be different. And yes, there is probably a command prompt way of getting to it as well.
