Officially, a notice has been sent that his string of courier ponies have defective shoes, requiring the re-shodding of the entire stable. Unofficially, it is rumored that he consumed an entire bottle of pear <i>eau-de-vie</i> that he mistook for non-alcoholic, pear nectar and was last seen riding backwards on his charger, wearing a distinctive chapeau very much like a lampshade, heading in the general direction of Vienna.[:o)]
