So what are you guys reading these days in the realm of Napoleonics? I have several books going covering the wars. Am reading through Kagan's work covering Napoleno and Europe 1801-1805. Also have a naval book on Trafalgar and the navies of the period. Has anyone seen any works on the Egyptian campaign that are of interest? There is this new one Bill called "Napoleon In Egypt: A Clash of Cultures" http://www.historybookshop.com/book-tem ... 0224076817 Though a good book going by the reviews on the amazon site, he does refer to "rifles" instead of muskets and ram rod for cleaning plus a few other minor quibbles going by Jon Latimer's review.[:0][:D] Not reading any Nappy books at present, though I am waiting for the new Borodino book by Alexander Mikaberidze to come out...[:)]
Lieutenant Colonel 2nd Battlion 95th Regiment of Foot II Corps Anglo-Allied Army

![]() |

Bill, I'm not reading any "Nap" titles right now, but I would strongly recommend a French novel, "The Battle", which is a wonderful depiction of Aspern-Essling! I read the English translation last summer and it blew me away. Regards, Paco Maréchal M.
