Post subject: | Please Use HPS Tech Support |
Recently on several of the forums important notes were made about the games series we develop. These are all fine and good and probably need to be corrected but ... Rich Hamilton, Rich Walker, Glenn Saunders and I dont have all of the time in the world to read these boards and search through every thread for this kind of note. So .... Please remember to use the HPS Support Email for any item that you find in the games whether its not enough ammo, a missing unit or pic for a unit, units coming on in the wrong places or .... well you fill in the blank. The support email can be found at the HPS website. Suggestions for engine changes are welcome as well. This note is mainly to remind you that changes to the game have mainly come by your emails rather than a long lengthy forum discussion. Its FAR better to get a note and then let Rich Hamilton start up a topic here for discussion (or Glenn on the Panzer board). While noone is stopping you from launching a full scale thread on a topic concerning the game its much better to bring it to Rich's attention and then let him send it along to the right person, whether its John Tiller or the series developer (Glenn for instance) or the Scenario Designer (guys like me). I for one will not be getting into discussion on the forums concerning errors found in the games. I much prefer for folks to use the appropriate channels and let Rich inform me if something needs my attention. Instead from time to time I will post informational threads that will let you know about a particular design decision I made concerning the games. The club is welcome to start up a forum for such posts if they like in order to keep them from going away. I also plan on putting up these posts on my website for folks to view. Please keep this in mind: the issue you are concerned about will receive our full attention in this fashion and is less likely to be missed. Remember to send a game file along with your note. This really helps us to see the error. If this can be made into a Sticky it would be nice.
