Post subject: | Question about HPS Waterloo/Entry hexes |
I'm playing through my first Waterloo campaign, and chose to invade through Mons. On the Mons map, there is an obj hex on the pike heading north off the map, 5 hexes in. Allied reinforcements arrive in the last 3 turns, routing everyone within 5 hexes due to the protected entry hex - meaning the creek line and obj cannot be held (or you sit 6 hexes away and try to counterattack on the last turn and hope no more Allies arrive then). I may have missed something, but if not - is this intentional (having the obj defense within a protection zone)? Nope, that wasn't intentional...just a case of Charlie accepting the default protection values. I just updated the stand alone & campaign scenarios which will all be included with the next update when ever that goes out. Rich - what value did you insert in place of the default "5"? 2 - which will allow the units to get on the map, but still allow the French to hold the creek line and objective if they are there at that point in the game. Maréchal Hamilton, Duc de Barbancon 21st Division VII Corps, ADR 1er Regiment Garde Fusiler-Grenadiers ![]() |
