Gentlemen

Colonel Knox, please be upstanding.

I call on all officers here present to put aside the concerns of their respective nations and to join me for a moment in the celebration of the promotion of a fellow comrade in arms. Whether you are an officer of La Grande Armee or the Coaliton you cannot fail to applaud the talent displayed on numerous battlefields by this excellent officer. He has pittied his wits gainst the best the allies can offer and has been victorious on each and every occasion.

The Emperor has seen fit this day to reward his achievements and has elected to promote the good Colonel Knox to the rank of General de Brigade.

Please join me in a toast to the newly commissioned General de Brigade Knox.

Salute

Gentlemen I am honoured to assume the rank of a General Officer in the Emperors army.

I am also humbled by the famous officers at this table. I think my reputation has become a little over inflated. I have been lucky so far.

That said the drinks are on me at this table all night! Tomasz perhaps you might have some of that Czech drink handy too Slivervich is it? (sorry bad spelling), and Yann your sauternes perhaps.

Salute to all!

Helga, please, do serve these bottles of Rheinisch and Elsass wine first.[8D] General Knox will no doubt capture these wagons at Jena soon, so, Gentlemen, don't hesitate to try everything![;)]

The time has past for the Allies to be polite to Mr. Knox. After all, if one recieves that rank of General from an imposter on the throne, is it really a commission worth celebrating? Perhaps we have all grown too comfortable with our enemies, and that is why Mr. Knox beats every last one of us silly?

No more fraternising with the enemy! Well, at least no more after I by the good General a drink!

An imposter Jim? Why the Emperor is the light and the benefactor of Europe, why do you oppose him so....

Well don't worry about that now though I'll take that drink and buy you one on my tab too. Also one for everyone else who has joined the party.

As for the famous allied officers at the table we shall be friends tonight and rivals tomorrow. In the meantime salute!
