Dear Sir,

I am wondering if you managed to get Computer War In Europe running on XP?

My old computer is retired.

First, is this game even out? According to:

http://www.decisiongames.com/wwii/europe/europe.htm

... the game is still in development.

Are you using an older version?

If so there is a way to use emulation mode for older programs. I havent had too much success with games of the older genre. Sometimes they work and sometimes they dont.

I have the original/early version of WIE on computer. It's the one that looks and plays like the board game. I have no problem running it under XP. I even doubled checked it just before making this post.

Bill - did you have to use emulation mode or was it a straight install and then run the program?

Bill, it was a straight download when I was running Windows 98, which continued to run with no problem when I upgraded to XP.
