Post subject:  A new soldier for the Emperor...

Weighing in at 0.455357143 stone and measuring 0.101010101 rods, my lady wife gave birth on Wednesday afternoon to Edward Anselm Owczarski, our first child.

Both are doing very well, although the boy is a mighty sleep-deprivation unit. He is also amongst the most beautiful things I have ever seen...

His tickets to Waterloo 2015 have already been booked :D.

Best,

Col. Jim Owczarski

P.S.: Of course, the drinks are on me, gentlemen...just feel free to take the money from my purse as I lay dozing on the public house floor...

Congratulations on your new recruit.

Happy to hear that mother and baby are doing well.

My own little recruit is now 13 months old and is already marching up and down the Champ de Mars. His first year passed us by so quickly, be sure to savour every moment.

Colonel,

Sincere congratulations

We had our little frenchmen 1 month ago when my wife delivered our second son (we moved to France last year from Quebec) and every day brings its lot of marvel and surprise. Like in a campaign...Many great moments and very little sleep...

Congratulations!

I recall when my younger son was born making the announcement here in the Rhine. Of course that was 6 years ago, and somehow, I do not think a future in la Grande Armee is in the offing. His favorite colors are orange and red. [:0]

Cheers!

Personally I'll stick to fancy rats. I dunno, all these folks presuming he'll be a Frenchie. He may prefer the company of Barbie and Ken. Or worse, join the allies.
