Gentlemen,

It is both an honour and a pleasure to announce the promotion of the following Anglo-Allied officers, in recognition of their service to the Army and for the competence they have demonstrated in leading men into battle:

~ <b><u>Nik Butler</u></b>, commanding 6th British Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, II Corps, to the rank of <b><font color="orange">Lieutenant Colonel</font id="orange"></b>

~ <b><u>Chas Dewar</u></b>, commanding 1st/42nd Regiment of Foot, 9th British Brigade, II Corps, to the rank of <b><font color="orange">2nd Lieutenant</font id="orange"></b>


Furthermore, in recognition of his first victory over the French foe, the <b><font color="red">Military General Service Medal</font id="red"></b> has been awarded to:

~ <b><u>2nd Lieutenant Chas Dewar</u></b>, commanding 1st/42nd Regiment of Foot, 9th British Brigade, II Corps
