![]() Vorwärts Meine Kinder!! Vorwärts!! http://scott-ludwig.com/NWC/Prussia/PrussiaVideo.swf Our new recruitment video!! After your done, come join us!! For all ages of these lands stand the prominent one of them all. I speak of Prussia. The Prussian Armee is one of the best chances to make something of yourself in this club or a cool place to relax and disappear from the masses and have some fun if that is your style. We are a low key force that tries to have fun and encourage good gamesmanship and positive additude. We don't require you to be constantly playing games. We don't pester you every month with musters. We don't wipe your existence in the Armee and club away. Our pages kept up to date and offer more than just a gaming HQ with research and historical links too. We offer one of the best medals and promotions system. Not unweildy rank points nor medals based solely on victories. Our medals are exstensive and easy to get, but also a fun challenge. We also have plenty of openings and room for growth. Listen to these words: "To advance was impossible, to stay where we were meant certain death, and with our goal so near everyone preferred death to retreat. Our difficulty and danger were growing all the time. Eventually Gaseback [Friccius' adjutant] found a weak place in the wall, to the right between the gate posts and the poor-house. I grabbed the rifle of the nearest Landwehr soldier and battered in the thin wall with the butt. It soon collapsed, because several of the men gave us vigorous help. As soon as the opening was large enough, I jumped through the breach and shouted to my troops, 'You won't abandon me, will you??' On hearing my call, Captain Motherby leaped to the front and holding up his sword called out, 'Comrades, follow me'!!" Thus was the brave words men of the 3rd Landwehr Regiment!! All up and down the lines our great GFM was heard to have said: Vorwärts meine Kinder!! That day, that famous day at Liepzig!! General Vorwärts carried his undying quest of Honor and Glory to crush the little corporal!! General Vorwärts would carry the day time and time again!! Fearing nothing and no man!! Death Looked him in the face and he Laughed!! http://www.prussianarmy.com Feel free to e-mail too: eric2900@aol.com Who knows maybe you will be the next Blucher, the only man who was never afraid of old Boney!! You know what they say. Once you go black you never got back!! Besides we played a major part in 2 of Napoleon's 3 defeats!! Like today!! Now that is one of my favourite military paintings! As a child I tried to copy it (as a drawing) as I was fascinated by the powerful effect the bold use of perspecive gives it with the line going right to the vanishing point in the far distance. You are left in no doubt that this is the age of linear warfare.[8D]
Brigadier General Antony Barlow ~ 2nd British (Union) Brigade, Anglo-Allied Cavalry Corps ~ ~ 4th (Royal Irish) Dragoon Guards ~ ![]() |
