That's where playing in a club likes this comes in. You'll find you can trust the players to just not look. If you suspect someone is looking then just don't play them anymore. Lt. General Sir Mark Nelms K.G. 1st Regiment of Foot Guards |

Clifton, I have played many Campaign games. with lots of the Allied Officers. and still have to on the go.. And i would trust anyone here ... Playing the Campaign is the best way to play these games. I was the same as you when i first played one.But soon found out the trust here is good. Remember the guy your fighting may think the same as well. MMMMMMMMM let see Mon general it’s not nice to point fingers at others and quite playing for what you think. It would be better if like I always say up date to stop thing from happing then you would not have to be put in a situation were you think and the other person just made good judgments. That’s to me is a design fault. I feel that if I’m paying my good money I should not have to trust the other person. I think it has nothing to do what club you in no one have to put a finger on another when that other could have better judgment and knowledge then you quitting is not the way I play and judgment is not my way bonjou! No one in this club should have to stop a game because of this and no one should it up to the tech to fix a system that would cause people to trust or distrust others by the way are these rules just in English ? Let me put it to you this way Clifton: there is a way to even get past the encryption and see the opponents turn in a normal battle with encryption on. I know how to do it so others probably do as well. I wont outline how to do it but the main thing here is to play with folks you trust. If your opponent is always responding to your "traps" you set for him then its time to move on but do it quietly and dont post anything about it like "what do you do is you think that someone is cheating?" type posts. If that does happen email your superior officer. That is the best way to handle those kinds of instances. Like Dean, I trust any player I play and have yet to find that anyone was ever cheating against me. This club has a good track record as far as I am concerned. If someone wants to cheat they are just cheating themselves out of a good friendship.[:)] Colonel Bill Peters Armee du Rhin - V Corps, Cavalerie du V Corps, 20ème légère Brigade de Cavalerie, 13ème Hussar Regiment HPS Napoleonic Scenario Designer (Eckmuhl, Wagram, Jena-Auerstaedt and ... more to come) Fire and Melee Wargame site |

Chill out Cliff its only a game. If players need to open the opponents file to win let them. They fool only themselves. By the way can I have a cookie? Mon ami, Cher pardon moi it’s hard to chill when so many others, I do believe, belive that their moves are protected, would you want your atm or SS # open to the world no! Why put people in this state were codes can be broken by a computer geek or someone who just wants to see were the enemy is. Its not that I’m up set or that I would do that, that’s why I play with enc codes they are there for a reason now chill on that pill! I just won’t play the games without one for I never want another player thinking I would look that is all. Some security is better then none. Col de Art 6/3 II Corps AN Marbot CS |

but cliff, we are not children! Well, most of us anyway! I think Herr Windenbagfuhrer, although not a minor, is certainly at the least a ward of the state! There may be a few people that cheat in this club but I think after a while they find no one to play with and move on. Most of us play these games because we love the history, the games, and the challenge. Sure, I like to win, but I lose more than I win. Tomasz and I have been playing a Jena battle for 300 turns. I will lose. Don't worry about it. I have been in the club six or seven years and never heard of someone cheating. Seriously, I have never even heard accusations.... Now I will go into the pantry for a cookie, if my wife has not eaten them all.. regards..
