Post subject:  Jena Campaign

Tomasz and I are playing a Jena Campaign (Maneuver of course) and we are up to our fourth battle. The first one ended with him mauling my French army. The second was a river situation that I couldnt see fighting in so we both agreed to move on to battle #3.

The third battle was at Riesa. Wow what a fight. I couldnt hold the river crossing. He had way too many troops to fight against me.

We fought to a Draw (I felt that that was pretty good considering I cant remember ever doing that against Tomasz). We move on to Esterwerda.

Question: How many of you guys have gotten deep into the campaign? Has anyone ever finished it?

Both Tomasz and I look at the situations and if they seem to difficult for the First Player we just move on. Some of the river crossing scenarios need to be revised. They are some of the hardest scenarios to balance.

Anyway, I will give a report after our next battle is over ...
