It is really frustrating that the "File Selection Dialog" box never tells you the difference between all the various scenarios. The Eckmuhl Campaign 16-23 April 1809 "16-23 April 1809 - Charles opens his offensive against the scattered French-Allied army. His main course of action will be to destroy the enemy's isolated corps and hold key objectives. A major defeat of the French will pull many of the Confederation of the Rhine forces out of the war. All Germany will tremble at the feet of the Austrian Kaiser! Meanwhile Napoleon has plans of his own! Can he take the initiative from his Hapsburg enemies and turn the tables?" Above is the description for 10 scenario's. Same description. This is not the only game in the Tiller vault that fails to give any explanation of what is the difference. All of these games really need a major update or even a complete overhaul and then re-sell them as version 2. I enjoy playing these games, but they are so dated. here are a few more: same description for each battle C02. Skirmish at Eckmuhl C02. The Battle of Teugn-Hausen C04. The Battle of Eckmuhl C05. The Battle of Eckmuhl |

Yes, this was before I went to having the campaign scenarios in their own folder. We had them in the main folder for this game and Wagram. By the time I worked on Jena I had it right. I started putting the campaign scenarios in their own folder. For Marengo I started copying some of the campaign scenarios that I thought you guys might enjoy playing as stand alone battles via the scenario selection dialog. If you own Marengo make sure you look for the ones that have "CAMP" in their filename. Example: 067_Lodi-1799-CAMP_HTH.scn |

Thank you, Christian. I know I could not have stated it better! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, that is the list. Now that I put a scenario list in the games its become easier to track the "default" battles and the extras. |
