For scenario 118. Battle of Marengo - Additional Forces - there is a reference to special rules in the Scenario Description. Please ignore this reference. At one point I was going to add in Special Rules but decided against it. I forgot to remove the reference to the Special Rules. Thanks to Giovanni Colombo for pointing this out! ![]() |

Thanks Bill, nice to see such quickfixes going right out instead of laying around till the next patch.. May I add that with the recent release this thread should be made sticky for a while till it's moved to the Feedback section. Maybe Bill wants to at more Errata so it would be handy to make it sticky. BTW we need a subsection in the Feedback section for Marengo. |

Good idea. I will be happy to update this thread as often as errors are found. There will be terrain changes to the large Quad map and other maps but nothing that will disrupt the games. I plan on adding more farm houses and small orchard groupings with the farms along with some walls/hedges/streams. Most of this will be added to areas outside of the existing battlefield areas in the scenarios. Some might get added in to the battlefield areas. Will be careful not to add in a pond where your 8lb French battery is located! ![]() |

Casteggio-Montegello OB: Austrian Cavalry battery in the Advanced Guard using incorrect Units image (Uhlan). 3D image is fine. Checked through the Austrian cavalry batteries but this seemed to be an isolated occurrence. Note: there was a major uniform change from 1797-98 and onwards. All branches saw changes in headgear and so on. I had to change a lot of uniform numbers for the Austrians towards the end of the project as we discovered just how wide-sweeping these changes really were. |

The Battle of Marengo scenarios (098-101) - Desaix-Boudet's Division should arrive at hex 176, 88 and not hex 175, 88. J.Rivaud's 2nd Cavalry brigade is missing in 100 (HTH) and 101 (SOLO). AI Scripts were missing for this cavalry brigade in 103. |

Blanket statement about the OBs. Noted that Austrian unit names drop off the edge of the Unit info area. Will have to reduce the length somehow. Look for a shorter unit name in the next update. Example unit is the CR17 Erzh Leopold HR in Rivoli. I need to think about removing the "Erzh" so that it fits in the view area. What I am most happy about is that there are no files that failed to open during final testing. Our Review Team looked at the first 100 scenario and I reviewed the rest. Ammo levels were there. Supply wagons were added if needed. Its nice to work on a title where the battles are not 50k+ per side for the most part. |

I guess the problem with Austrians is that some regimental names are really long because of the real names that are used as designation. Not sure how you want to shorten them but as long as they can be clearly identified it would all be good. |

Bill, Did a test: 1a/CR17 Ehzg Leo HR and certainly 1/CR17 Ehzg Leo HR fits in it just fine. |

Thanks Scott. Its a matter of choosing whether I want the Archduke name left off or to shorten his name. .... |

It's obviously more work but one could make a list of units who's name had to be drastically shortened. Maybe also adding a list of general abbreviations used in the game, that would help new players. |

Yes, I have thought of doing that. I probably will start on the list today and add it to the "Notes.pdf" file. |
