Organization : The concept of the 1999 AG tourney is that 46 players are playing in this tourney. The six best players of last year are free in round one, giving the other players the opportunity to have more interesting games. Round 1 started February 1st with 8 groups of 5 players. Best ending players of every group will qualify into 2nd round, where also the best 6 players of last year will start their tourney. Round 2 will have 6 groups of 5 players and best 2 per group qualify. Round 3 will have 4 groups of 3 players and only winners qualify. Round 4 is semi-final with 2 groups of 2 players with winner going thru to final (round 5). |

Basic rules :

|
Qualification : The best players of each group qualify for next rounds. In the first round 3 players finishing as 1, 2 and 3 in group qualify. In case a player ending as 1st, 2nd or 3rd in a group gets disqualified, player(s) who ended as 4th in their group(s) with the most points, also will qualify. Scoring: Every objective held at end of game counts as 1 point. For every turn a game is concluded in a victory before last turn, another point is scored. In case players end with an equal score after a complete round, player who held most non-objectives in all games within that round will be higher in rank. And in case players would then still be equal, the kills inflicted and the losses taken in complete round will decide.
Ladder scoring : Scoring for the International Wargame Club ladder is only
possible for members of IWC. The amounts will be decided later
upon. Players who are not a member yet can register themselves
at the: International
Wargame Club Scenarios : The scenarios for round one are Dniepr and Korsun. Each scenario might have additional rules. |
