Special Promotion of General der Kavallerie Wilhelm Prinz Peters von Dennewitz:
By Order of König Friedrich Wilhelm III, the Kommandeur der Reserve-Kavallerie General der Kavallerie Wilhelm Prinz Peters von Dennewitz has been decreed in Royal name to the rank of Generalfeldmarschall for the Service, Honor and Glory he gave to Prussia fighting the forces of the Empire Français for over two decades.

gave to Prussia fighting the forces of the Empire Français for over two decades, the formation of a new regiment to honor him, the 3. Husaren-Regiment (Brandenburgisches-Fürst von Peters) has been decreed in Royal name. The Prinz von Dennewitz himself will be appointed to this regiment for his retirement as the regiment's Colonel-in-Chief.
